Los Cuxinales is a plantation located in the southern Antigua valley. It’s lower altitude and sloped elevation allow for easy irrigation of the land resulting in a very consistent coffee crop with equally consistent quality. The name Cuxinales comes from the Cuxin tree, which is used to provide shade on the plantation. These trees attract multiple varieties of birds and insects, increasing the biodiversity of the farm. The soil is relatively rough and sandy compared to other farms in the surrounding area.
